CHOOSE THE ETERNAL LIFE
The last day you see the sun is not an illusion,
It's really your last day.
Most people do not even know about their last day,
But you know it.
This day you will die.
Most people do not know about their death,
But you know it.
So many people walk around with a meaningless life
And many people use religion as a mean of quieting their fear of death.
The Lord had mercy on you,
The Lord has told you what is good.
Once you had no identity,
Now you are God's child.
God has mercy on whomever he chooses.
He chose you this way.
Many people are sinners
And many people die without getting past this point.
The Bible clearly teaches that all people have sinned -- except Jesus.
Jesus Christ died on the cross for sinners.
You can also believe in being baptized to show obedience,
To take upon you the name of Christ
And to become a member of His Church.
You can go to Heaven
Pure as a white lily.
You still can go to Heaven.
Try to understand what happened to you.
Try to understand your own reasons for doing what you did
And the reason why the Son of God took a human form.
Christ loved you and gave himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins.
"Turn away from your sins and live."
For you have been called to live in freedom,
Don't choose the freedom to satisfy your sinful nature,
But the freedom to serve one another in love.
It is your last day
Don't be blind this day.
Don't eat anything.
Give your meal to others.
It's a day of prayers
As Christchurch mourns its dead.
Choose the eternal life.
THE WORDS
Sometimes your words are mixed
With words unsaid yet,
By changing their deep of meaning.
They turn me into something,
That you do not want me to become.
It's an escape from myself
Into my deep inside.
I run from you into my depth.
And this escape save me
In a certain place,
Where nothing changes.
Those that can save me there are
Either the memories,
Or the forms of air,
Or the forms in forms...
THE RAVEN OF EDGAR POE
We need only time
To undergo metamorphosis....
The girl and the old woman
Keeping an eye on each other;
The raven screaming, solemnly:
-Nevermore!
O, the raven of Edgar Poe,
Which had guessed
Their secret...
THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB
In spring the blossom on the blackthorn and the lily is the same,
There in the shepherd lands, where I stayed to think of Your name.
I heard the lamb's voice, when I passed the long grass in that field,
Waiting the bleating of the lamb and waiting by You to be healed.
I saw a flash of light more white, than I had ever seen before,
Descendant deep inside, until I perceived Your divine chore.
And when I heard the angel's song in the darkness over all,
I understood that You would pass to break inside my wall.
But You showed me only all the sins I have and all I did in vain,
You left me, but I would stay waiting You to come again.
And if I'm green and happy, even tired, and yet alive I am
It is because white is my soul and red is Your blood of lamb.

Enrich Your Life With Poetry
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Pat_Whelton]Pat Whelton
Poetry has a long history from the 3rd millennium BC. It has been written in various forms. It enters and exits our presence as we make this short journey through life. Sometimes it can be vague and overpowering when presented in the wrong light. In both second and third level education poems are discussed in a way which makes many feel they lack the equipment or the innate ability to respond. A poem is supposed to have a "meaning" which can be paraphrased or re-stated. It is assumed there are beauties which only the properly trained reader can discern. These may be in the way of minute verbal effects invisible to the ordinary reader, or, they may take the form of ambiguities and subtleties which were overlooker by the reader until the critic got to work. And almost always there is a "correct" way of responding to a poem of which the teacher or critic is aware but which the ordinary reader has to learn. This has resulted in a feeling among the ordinary reading public that there are difficulties about the appreciation of poetry which can not be overcome, even by effort.
Poetry is not something one should have to worry about; and it's certainly not something which should be confined to scholars whose innate knowledge gives them a better understanding. And I don't believe one should bother too much about the meaning of a poem before it has sunk into the soul in other ways, through rhythm, sound and imagery. Poems are meant to be enjoyed, to excite, and can be the most enriching thing one can encounter in life.
Poetry has the power to bring people together in expressions of love, birth and death. It can be melodious like Walter De La Mare's "The Song of the Mad Prince". Or obscure, leading one to draw your own conclusions, like Uphill written by Christina Rossetti.
Many English nursery rhymes go back to the seventeenth century and are derived from street-- cries, riddles, proverbs and children's games. Their lasting appeal is, they seem to be pure poetry, serving no purpose whatever. Here is a favourite-
Doctor Foster ( Anon)
Doctor Foster went to Gloucester
In a shower of rain.
He stepped in a puddle
Right up to his middle
And never went there again.
There is poetry to suit everyone, it will enrich your life, just give it the time it deserves. Learn to recite it on your own, this helps you feel the rhythm and enhances your perception of the poets thoughts and feelings. And if it can be related to an occurence in your life that has a special meaning then it is a poem you will never forget. Here is one such poem.
TONY O
"Through the bleak and barren snow
A voice there came a calling"
"Where are you going to Tony O
Where are you going this morning"?
"I am going where there are rivers of wine
The mountains bread and honey"
"There kings and queens do mind the swine
And the poor have all the money"!
The next time you come across a poetry book in a shop or library, don't be afraid to pick it up and look inside. It may contain treasures you never knew existed. http://surfersrest.blogspot.com/

How To Write A Concrete and Motivating Poem
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Atanu_Roy]Atanu Roy
Hi! I am Atanu, now with you to discuss about how to write a concrete and motivational poem. We all know that, literature is the mirror of the society. Therefore, we must say that a good literature or a literary piece must reflect the contemporary society as it is. A poem is a rhythmic form of literature. A concrete poem in my thought will must be hyperlinked with the society through the saga of the civilians, religious culture, educational nourishment, bla-bla-bla or damn direct. Recently, those who are literary-freak must have noted that the new-age poems often are lacking either the rhythm or the sense and sometimes ridiculously lacking both. Many a literary magazines are giving or providing that kind of poem a space too to flourish.
However, my poem has been selected to be a part of a top-class magazine does not mean or did not always carry a message that I am a great poet and my poems are concrete blocks from every dimensional aspect. I think, at first a poet should relate with the reader. I am damn sure about it, if you succeed to relate to your reader properly; your poem must be acclaimed and will be accepted all-over. Just try to think of a logical character in front of you while writing. Then just try seriously to not to write but to say the character some words from the core of your heart, the words that you feel. Please write down the words you are saying or going to say up, obviously in that very language. Hey! See, your poem is as concrete as your words. Still your job is not over. Now you have to spread your sight in another side of the creature. It will be far better if your creation i.e. the verse or the poem motivates at least one of your reader. You may be now in a thought, conflicted about how to motivate, or is it possible to motivate someone who is not in front of you! It is not very tough.
I personally think that it is damn easier than to drive your own scratch less SEDAN or SUV in a busy traffic. Here you also have must to be a good driver; who drive the words in the blank paper-way. It is nothing but a touch of a sensitive hand or a touch of heals. Every living being in the greater society is being lives sad in various ways. No one can say it loud that he or she is happy from all the earthy aspects. You please do not target the entire society to heal. Look upon a person in your range or you know thoroughly. Just board a little deep in that pity heart. Touch by a healing hand with some intimate words that can force the being to cry from the soul. Then say some words from an acute positive aspect that can boost-up thee. Hey! Write down the entire lines you said to him or her. Now you have done your job. I did not know whether I am fully clear to you all or not. However, honestly, I really expect your remarks; either the positive or negative. Ask me any further question related about the topic. I will be glad to clarify thy to all of you and that will be my eminent pleasure.
