Mama Africa
This land is warm and fine,
It is the best to be in all the time,
An ideal home when you need a rest,
The breeze is fresh and cool.
Wake and look to the east,
See the golden look of nature,
The rising sun in sight,
Presents a brand new day of light,
Like a call,
A call from mama Africa,
For peaceful wake in time,
Of her loving children to toil,
and better her beautiful environs,
to protect and preserve her nature,
with unrelenting efforts of work,
blended with spirit to achieve,
Thanks for being mama.
A word from emotion and pain
Far in the past your children were enslaved,
Ripped from the land and shipped away,
Irresponsibly treated but we survived,
Cared for all and inspired to carry on mama,
A natural treasure and a rich resource mama.
Natural wonders stays here within,
A home to wild life,
Adored by the world,
The land of gold and green,
Africa is so fresh and clean,
And everyday there is a bright light,
This place is so cool and nice,
make visit and feel it in your heart.
One must forget but we cant forget to give thanks to Creator,
everyday we walk with our faces shining bright,
waving the flag of our homeland to unite,
and carry higher the pride we have.
In my homeland am feeling so a live,
Her hubs from trees,
The curative solution to my health,
Her siblings are strong and beautiful,
skin is so dark and brown,
that you cant pass without another glance,
Hospitable and welcoming,
Mama Africa has so much to offer.
A blessed land of good morals,
Guarded by strong religions and beliefs,
Mama Africa,
your children are humble and loyal,
treated and cleansed with your traditional ways.

From a distance
I hear a call from many nations,
A call of peace,
A call of unity,
A call of oneness.
Here at home there is peace,
A peace of unity and leisure,
where nature is at its stake,
fresh and left at its original state,
Providing home to many.
Many wildlife that Africa feeds,
Feeds freely with her plenty resources.
Mama Africa,
The best world store of natural resources
Think of Africa, think of dense forest,
And colorful costumes,
A continent of cultural vibrant,
Inhabited by communities under customary law,
Presided over by age old wisdom.
